I want to build a stand that has three or four rotating levels like a brocure holder. Where do I start?

I would take wood, but I would rather use metal. I want something that stands straight upright like a coat rack, but have several levels that spin, just like the stands in stores that sell sunglasses. Can anyone point me at a store that would sell parts for what I need?
